What your day will look like:

• Lead the design and development of web applications using Ruby and Ruby on Rails.
• Develop and maintain API endpoints that are scalable, robust, and secure.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to refine technical solutions, particularly for web scraping projects.
• Implement web services on Google Cloud, including cloud functions, cloud engine, and BigQuery.
• Work closely with other developers and technical leads to ensure the delivery of high-quality code.
• Participate in technical meetings and provide insights to optimize project outcomes.
• Ensure timely delivery of projects within the planned sprints.

The experience you’ll need:

• Extensive experience in Ruby and Ruby on Rails – this is essential.
• Strong skills in designing and developing API endpoints.
• Experience with Google Cloud services (cloud functions, cloud engine, BigQuery) is highly desirable.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Fluent in English; additional languages like Italian are a plus.
